Instead of the usual way of stir frying my sardines, I decided to steam them with the help of my electric lunch box. It is much healthier and the cooking area is not so messy. I dont even need to do the cooking, the electric lunch box did all the cooking. Step by step video on steaming the sardines with the electric lunch box.

Recently, my friends and I had buffet lunch at Spice Cafe in Concorde Hotel, Orchard Road. We paid for the senior citizen price (we are above 55 but below 60), most buffet only have promotion for 60 and above so we really glad we can have this buffet promotion for our age hahaha. I really recommend this peranakan buffet, there's so many varieties and I love the kueh too. Actually I am too full to try all the varieites, missed out quite a few dishes (need to go again hahaha). I did not take photos of the soup area, noodles section, salad, some other dishes too so dont be misled by my post's photos. Popiah Satay Ice cream and Chendol area Rojak area - did not eat it, too full already haha Laksa - love it - delicious Putu mayam - Oh I like this snack, nowadays cant find this sell in most places. Over the weekend, hubby and me had lunch at Hawkerman in Funan Mall. I had tried the food in Hawkerman but was at their Paya Lebar Outlet. I like the Hokkien Mee with the fried Chicken. Tasted very good. Hubby had the grilled fish and rice, he liked it too. Popiah

I loved okra, so decided to cook some with portuguese sauce. I decided to steam instead of stir fry them. It is very simple, just pour some portuguese sauce over the cut okra and steam in my electric lunch box. I made a video on the step by step on how to do it. Can view from the You Tube video below. It was really so yummy and delicious.
