Sweet Potato Soup using the Thermal Pot

Using the Thermal Cooker Pot to cook the sweet potato soup is so easy as well as save gas and electricity.

I only boiled for about 15 minutes on the stove and then keep into the pot to be cooked on its own for about three hours.

Watch my video for the step by step tutorial.

Hui Lau Shan - Dessert

Always wanted to try the dessert at Hui Lau Shan in Nex Mall. The price is reasonable and the dessert is good and lots of varieties. No problem finding seats here.

Not sure what to order, we tried the mango feast where there's three different mini types of dessert.

Maison De PB at Jewel Changi Airport Singapore

Maison de PB, or House of Paris Baguette, is the premium sister brand of famous Korean bakery café Paris Baguette. We had high tea at the beautiful cafe in Jewel. It is a double storey cafe, best to sit upstairs, it looked cozy and comfortable. Downstairs is a bit open and bright. Upstairs served mains and looked like a PUB where we can have drinks. We ordered our coffee here. Downstairs served desserts like cakes, sandwiches, etc. We need purchase the cakes and paid for it and bring upstairs ourselves.

The cakes were so beautifully baked and looked so yummy. There were indeed tasty.

Appled Snow Man - White sheet cake with apple mousse, fresh cream and coconut powder

Fruitful tart - creamy cheese mousse, fresh cream with assorted fresh fruits.

Tea Break at The Little Prince Cafe

Spotted this nice little cafe when I was in Toa Payoh. Had to head into the cafe for our tea break.Looked very lovely with painting of the little prince and yes the cafe is known as Little Prince. Nice place to take photo of the decorations and the paintings and of course the waffle was really good and crispy.

The cafe was at Block 47 Lor 6 Toa Payoh, Singapore 310047 and is opposite Pei Chun Public School. (From Toa Payoh Bus Interchange take bus no.232 and alight at Pei Chun Public School)

Tea Break at Otto Deli Holland Village

As always after a whole day outing with my siblings, we would rest our feet by having tea break. Was a long time since I visited Holland Village, surprised that there's a new mall near the Holland Village MRT Station. It was owned by Raffles Medical Group.

We had black coffee, white coffee, cappuccino and tea. The photos of the drinks looked great especially with the flowers deco. As I was trying to arrange the flowers for the others to take photo, I accidentally spill my cup of coffee argggh. The staff were very nice and quick to clear and clean the spilled coffee. I felt so bad. They replaced my cup of coffee without extra charge. Wow, really make my day happy despite the spilled coffee that spilled some onto my pants. Lucky I was wearing black pants and quickly rush to the restroom to wash off the coffee stain.

We had the chocolate waffle with ice cream.

Roasted potatoes.

Nice cozy place with good and cheerful staff, food was good too.
