Lunch at our favourite restaurant again. This time round, got a free lunch treat at Chui Huay Lim Restaurant, we had the set menu for teochew cuisine. Teochew Cuisine Exquisite Platter (Deep Fried Liver Rolls, Deep Fried Beancurd Roll Stu ed with Prawns, Braised Duck with Beancurd, Pig Trotter Terrine) Braised Superior Shark’s Fin Soup Teochew Style (Normally, I do not like thick chucky shark's fin cause they were hard to chew but this was excellent, very soft and easy to chew and very tasty). Teochew Roasted Suckling Pig Marinated with Five Spices Pig's Head (chopped to bite sizes) Asparagus Stir Fried with Pumpkin, Fresh Lily Bulbs and Dried Sole Fish Teochew Steamed Pomfret Whole 3-Head Abalone and Broccoli Braised with Superior Abalone Sauce in Claypot Like how soft and tender the abalone and especially easy to chew especially to senior folks like us. :) Very yummy and tasty too. King Prawns and Glass Vermicelli Braised in Claypot Teochew Style Yam Paste with Pumpkin and Gingko Nuts

Instead of the usual way of stir frying my sardines, I decided to steam them with the help of my electric lunch box. It is much healthier and the cooking area is not so messy.
