Kingsman Bistro Bar and Karaoke at Thomson Plaza - Lunch

Thomson Plaza is now so easily accessible by the Thomson MRT Line. Just alight at Upper Thomson MRT Station and exit at EXIT 1. Thomson Plaza is just at the door step of the station.
Tuck in the corner of Thomson Plaza on Level 1 is Kingsman. Surprised to find a nice cozy restaurant here. The service and food is good. This is run by the Yam Group. The House of Yam at Heartland Mall, Kovan is run by the group too. Bistro & Bar is a new concept run by Yam's, the elite gastronomy

On each table is decorated with the nutcracker.

They have karaoke rooms too. It was once a karaoke lounge and now converted to a restaurant.

With permission from the staff and the friendly staff brought me to view the karaoke rooms. This is the VIP Karaoke Lounge can takes in max 40 people. View the price above.

The smaller room(I think there are 5 rooms) can take maximum 10 people. Can order food in the rooms too.

So many nice food in the menu . The menu is curated by their executive chef Kelvin Yam according to their website.

We ordered the fish and chips and the classic chicken chop. Their signature dish is the Curry Pie Pot and the XO Otah carrot cake. Will come again and order their signature dishes.

I like the cozy ambience and the food and will definitely bring my friends here for a gathering.

Burger and Lobster at Jewel , Changi Airport Singapore

Had lunch recently at Burger and Lobster at Jewel, Changi Airport, Singapore. Jewel is really a beautiful and fantastic place to hang out.

We decided to lunch at Burger and Lobster.

We three ladies decided to order the lobster and burger set that comes with one lobster and two big burgers, fries and salad and two cocktails so we ordered an extra glass of cocktail. It is enough to share among three of us as the burgers were real huge and we wanted go for high tea later too.

The meal is fantastic but a little costly, we had the same when we travelled to Genting Highlands, Malaysia and is cheaper.

Tsui Wah (翠華餐廳) at Orchard Road

Recently had lunch at Tsui Wah at The Heeren. It's a double storey restaurant and can choose to sit indoor (air con) or outdoor (no air con). It is connected to Robinson at The Heeren. But firstly, we need to get a queue number. We dont have to stand and queue. Just get our queue number via the queue machine and when there's a table they will call us on our handphone. It is so popular that we need to wait for almost 45 minutes. We can choose to dine indoor or outdoor, the number of people and whether to share table or not. We choose not to share table so there's a longer wait for two of us. When I was in Shenzhen, we also dine in Tsui Wah, it was bigger and no queue but the food is almost the same.

I choose the western set and get to have soup of the day (either pumpkin soup or beef soup) and toast bread and drink.

Hubby had Japanese Curry with pork cutlet and we ordered another dish of sweet and sour pork. But think we ordered too much haha.

Family meal at Jack's Place

My son brought us to have dinner at Jack's Place, one of my favourite place to have meal.

Garlic Bread goes well with the soup of the day.

As he was not driving, he had a glass of beer.

Grilled Chicken Steak

Jack's Eye Fillet Steak

Grilled Slipper Lobsters

New England's Fish and Chips

As I paid extra $5.80 for the set meal that comes with soup of the day, coffee or tea and dessert

Andes by Astons

Recently, we siblings plus our spouses (group of 10), had a lunch treat from my eldest sister at Aston, Changi Village. Everyone ordered almost different and I think only 2 in the group ordered the same item. We get to choose one main course plus two sides (hot or cold). I am too lazy to find out each dish name hahaha, so refer to the menu. The food was served quite fast and am happy the meal were good and delicious.
