Peranakan Lunch at Tombok Tombok in Kaki Bukit Community Club

First time visiting this Peranakan Restaurant called Tombok Tombok located inside Kaki Bukit Community Club. Heard about this restaurant from my sister, so decided to visit this restaurant to try their food.

We could use our CDC Voucher to pay for our meals. CDC Vouchers also help improved merchant's business as well as help Singapore household with their daily expenses.

We always ordered Ayam Buah Keluak for nonya cusine.

The location of the restaurant is abit far as we dont stay near bedok. But the food is good and the restaurant is cozy and quiet and easy to talk on a weekday lunch. Will go again with friends for gathering.

The Blue Ginger Restaurant - Peranakan Lunch

Another lunch gathering with my siblings and their spouses. We senior are mostly retired and it is great we siblings can get along and go for outing and "makan" session. As our children are all grown up , now is the time for we old folks to catch up with each other.

Our favourite must be peranakan food, love the archar and sambal chilli.

Peranakan Lunch at Ivins at Thomson Plaza - (second visit)

My second visit to Ivins at Thomson Plaza but this time, I brought more makan  kaki to join me for lunch so I could order more dishes.

Peranakan Lunch at Ivins at Thomson Plaza

Lunch at Ivins in Thomson Plaza. Easy access by the Thomson East Coast Line at Upper Thomson Station Exit 1.

They have 2 units but seats are without back rest. Means cannot sit too long especially for senior folks hahaha. The menu have a lot of dishes and looked so tempting. Need come again with more people to try the dishes.

I ordered the peranakan set of Ayam Buah Keluak that comes with 2 side dishes. Rice comes in plain white rice or nasi kuning .

Hubby ordered the nasi lemak ayam rendang.

The lunch was delicious, will visit again.

Harri Anns Nonya Table at Bugis Junction

Always love dining at HarriAnns Nonya Table , whenevery I shopped at Bugis Junction. Nonya cuisine is one of my favourite.

Seems to have some new menu since I last visited.

I ordered the Ayam Buah Keluak that comes with a drink.  It really tasted so good. Even the side archar is nice too with sweet and sour taste.

Also ordered the gluntinous rice set with drink and assorted kueh. Ever since the famous glutinous rice stall at Chinatown closed down, I found a replacement at Harri Ann for the white glutinous rice.

Will visit again and try the other new menu.
