Juwei Old Nanyang Coffee Shop at Safra 29 Carpenter Street Singapore

Discover this hidden gem from instagram, hubby is a safra member but we never visit this safra branch at Carpenter Street. It was indeed a hidden gem, lovely cozy place and good food. There was a coffeeshop on the ground floor, a restaurant , karaoke and a live band on the higher floors. I wonder if we senior folks would be kicked out of the live band venue , seems a favoutie haunt of the youngsters hahaha.
Safra at 29th Carpenter Street easily access from Clarke Quay MRT Station Exit E, just crossed over the road from the station and turned left to Carpenter Street and Safra building is easily visible.

Nice decorations in the Nanyang Coffeeshop, love the dragon feature on the wall.

This is the breakfast menu, did not take photo of the lunch menu.
The portion is very big for one person.
Fried Penang Char Kway Teow
Nasi lemak with curry vegetables at the side.
Braised pork knuckles

White Restaurant - Vivocity - Lunch

Had a wonderful lunch at White restaurant in Vivocity.

We had one value lunch set and the other ala carte.
For the  lunch set, the main - we ordered the XO Twin scallop fried rice
For the side dish, we ordered the meat and seafood roll
The value lunch set supposed to come with soup of the day but they run out of soup that day, so they replaced my soup of the day with a dessert. I suggested my replacement to be yam paste and the chef agreed to it. Oh I loved the yam paste so much.

For the ala carte dish, we ordred the original white mee hoon

Enjoyed our lunch, will visit again. :)

Lunch at Lau Wang Claypot at Pasir Ris Mall

Recently visited the new Pasir Ris Mall, had lunch at Lau Wang Claypot Delights. It used to have the original outlet in Serangoon but closed due to high rental.  My two sons like their food, used to "tabao" (takeaway) for them from their Serangoon Outlet.
Happy to chance upon their new outlet in Pasir Ris Mall.

Order the claypot curry chicken

Hopefully they will have outlet back at their Serangoon Area.
