Air Fry whole fish (sea bass) with the rotisserie bar (without rotating function) in an air fryer oven

First time trying to air fry a whole fish using the air fryer oven. I used the rotisserie bar to hang the fish as like I was hanging the laundry lol. Watch how I did it in the video below.

The fish tasted good and smell nice with the tumeric flavour.

Ala Carte Peranakan Buffet at Sun Cafe in Grand Pacific Hotel

One of my favourite place to have buffet is Sun Cafe. They always have promotion with credit cards or Safra Card. When we were there in beginning of January, the cards are POSB/DBS and UOB credit cards offerring 1 for 1 promotion. We used my hubby's Safra Card which gives us 50% discount on the buffet. So if there's odd number of people going for the buffet, the safra card is better.

We just have to tick for the food we want and the number of people or number of items. Do not tick wrongly. If indication for number of five people the item should be "one" so its five people * item = five pieces in one plate. If you indicate number of five people and five item will be five*five = 25 pieces in one plate hahaha. If unsure ask the staff for help to explain.

As we are only two of us, we indicate number of people "one" and tick on the number of item we want cause certain item (like soup), my hubby do not take. (eg soup one, curry chicken two, etc etc)

Air Fried Terriyaki Salmon and Air Fried Luffa with prawns with the air fryer oven

Still experimenting with my new air fryer oven, today made two dishes at the same time using the air fryer oven. 

Firstly, I preheat the air fryer oven at 180 degrees celsius for ten minutes. Then I marinated the fish with terriyaki sauce (watch the video).

Preparing the second dish, cut some luffa and add some prawns to it and season with some light soya sauce and sesame oil. Did not add any water, the gravy created by the luffa moisture during air frying.

Wrapped the luffa with prawns in parchment paper to create a parcel like. 

Air fry both dishes at 180 degrees celsius for 15 minutes, after 15 minutes the fish was cooked and smell great. The luffa is still not soft enough to my liking, decided to air fry the luffa for another ten minutes but removed the cooked fish first.

Preparing for Chinese New Year Snacks - Using the Rotisserie Basket with the Toyomi Air Fryer Oven

Chinese New Year is just round the corner, starting to prepare snacks for Chinese New Year. Although the number of guests will be reduced and some not coming at all. It still need the festive mood to celebrate Chinese New Year whether guests coming or not due to the Covid Pandemic.

I started by roasting some cashew nuts using my new Toyomi Air Fryer and using the Rotisserie Basket for the first time. It was fun watching the basket turning in the oven.

Half Boiled Eggs using the air fryer oven

Decided to have half boiled eggs for breakfast, the easy way is to use the air fryer . I took two eggs straight from the fridge, wash them and wipe them dry and pop into the pre heat air fryer oven.  I preheat at 100 degrees celsius for 10 minutes (lesser time if higher temperature but I worried I forgot to adjust the temperature back when cooking the eggs)

Then I placed the eggs on a steaming rack into the baking tray. The steaming rack is to prevent the eggs from rolling about when air fry. Then I air fry them at 100 degrees celsius for 15 minutes.

Super easyand breakfast is ready in no time. I was worried the eggs will explode but no the eggs wont explode but please dont attempt same method using a microwave. My friend has eggs explode in her face when she tried microwave her eggs.

Palm Beach Seafood Restaurant - Lobster Lunch

Just turned 61, my family celebrated my birthday at Palm Beach Fullerton with a seafood Lunch, the Lobster was really big about 2 kg.

The claws looked big like  giant crab but is really lobster, did not took photo of the whole lobster. The lobster was really huge and lots of meat in it.

Spare pork ribs cooked with marmite - Oh I really love this, the meat is so soft and fall off the bone when bite into it. Love the taste of the marmite.

Unboxing Toyomi AIr Fryer and Oven AFO 2525 RC (2 in 1 oven)

I am very happy to get my new air fryer oven,is a two in one oven. I got it from the Toyomi showroom in Takashimaya Department Store. It helps that I got a $50 Takashimaya voucher to offset the purchase price of the oven. Yeah.

They do free delivery for me so I dont have to carry the heavy oven on my own.

It is easy to use with the help of the instruction book that comes with the airfryer oven.

Toyomi Air Fryer Oven (2 in 1 oven) - Air Fried Salmon with mixed herbs

Starting the new year with a new Oven. Recently, I bought Toyomi Air Fryer Oven from the local departmental store. Really happy with the result and it is easy to use.

I air fried the Salmon with mixed herbs which was cooked in less than 10 minutes.

The Toyomi Air fryer is a 2 in 1 oven, I can air fry or use the normal oven to cook my dishes. There's an instruction booklet that comes with the oven and is easy to understand. All I have to do is to practise more to perfect my cooking skill using the oven. (This is not a sponsored post)
