Seah Imm Hawker Centre

Yesterday, hubby and me went to Seah Imm Hawker Centre for lunch. Although the weather is so hot but surprising the hawker centre is not so stuffy and hot. It is quite spacious and not crowded at that time when we were there. Hubby had nasi brani and it costs S$4.50 I had Ayam penyat (fried chicken rice) and costs me S$4.00 There are cheaper food at the hawker centre, if I am not mistaken the cheapest is about S$2.50. You can see the hawker centre is very airy and spacious.

Lunch at Rendezvous Restaurant Hock Lock Kee

After visiting the museum with my siblings and their families, we headed to Rendezous Restaurant Hock Lock Kee to have some nasi padang dinner. It is so yummy.

Very quiet and nice ambience.

We have to head to the counter and ordered our food and they would bring the dishes over to our tables.

The food all looked so good and some are spicy and some not.
Starters before the dinner, we had cumcumber and onions salad

You can choose the different type of gravy you wanted to go with your rice.

Korma Chicken (not spicy)

Curry Fish

Beef Rendang

Curry Chicken

Potato Patties or Bergadel

Sambal cuttlefish - spicy and good

Fried Brinjal with chilli - I hated brinjal but I dont mind okra.

Chicken rendang

Spicy curry gravy to go with rice...delicious. You can choose the non spicy gravy if you dislike spicy food.
We ordered two portions for every dishes as there are so many of us.
There is a 10% discount if you uses UOB credit card.

You can visit the official website of the restaurant in here.

Lunch at Funan Centre

Was shopping with hubby at Funan IT Centre and we decided we have lunch at the food court.

I had nasi padang (malay food), some curry vegetables, fried chicken and potato patty (hidden by the rice)

Hubby had Indian Food, he had tuna murtabak. It is something like a pancake.

And dipped them into chilli sauce.

Hubby opening the murtabak for me to take photo of the tuna inside it...lol.

Malay Food

There are times when I hated to go to a packed food court to have my lunch. So I prefer to have take away and eat in my own comfort without sharing tables with strangers...lol.

This is one of my favourite - nasi padang, it comes with chilli okra (not spicy at all), potato patty (my favourite) and fried crispy chicken drumstick. It is so good.

Nasi lemak and the rice is padang rice which explained the green colour in the rice.

Mee goreng - this is not so yummy.

Nasi Lemak

There are days when you felt like ordering take away for your lunch.
So I got this take away for my lunch from Asian Cusine at Plaza Singapura.
This is Nasi Lemak Set A, it comes with sambal chilli, ikan billis and nuts, fried egg and fried chicken wing. The rice is pandan rice. It smells good and quite tasty.
