Apples, carrots and corn soup with dried longans

Being too long away from posting video in my You Tube Channel, so starting the year with a nice soothing soup.

So many apples in my fridge, so decided to cook soup with the apples. After cooking , the apples tasted so sweet and tasted like korean brown pear. The reason being the apples absord all the sweetness from the other ingredients.

Go-Ang Pratunam Chicken Rice - Vivo City

Vivo City is a great place to shop and lots of eateries and restaurants here, no problem with food, only problem is the crowd especially during the weekend and with the restriction on the number of people able to dine in, make it hard to find available seats. We were lucky to get table for five at Go Ang Pratunam Vivo City during weekend lunch. Great place to eat in here and reminds me fondly of previous trip to Bangkok. Missed travelling.

Of course, we ordered their signature chicken rice and steamed chicken. Love the plates with picture of the rooster.

Thai red curry chap chye (mixed vegetable) - I found this dish to be too 'Lemak" too much coconut milk

Had a good lunch with the tasty food..

Tefal Rice Cooker Recipe - Braised Chicken with chestnuts

Cooking dont have to be that hard if there's lots of appliances to help us.  I made a braised chicken dish with my Tefal Rice Cooker.

It was super easy, just marinated the chicken and cooked it with the rice cooker and add whatever ingredients you like. Let the rice cooker do the cooking. I braised the chicken with ready chestnuts (easily purchased from supermarket), tasted so good. For those using raw chestnuts, steam the chestnuts first before adding into the rice cooker.

Seoul Yummy Nex - korean lunch

We had lunch at Seoul Yummy. It is really yummy and missed travelling to korea. The food really reminds us of korea. We ordered the Bundle sets.

Daebak Army Stew for two people but really is enough for four people (We are a family of five people)

It had a lot of ingredients and lots of beef meat topped on top of  the instant noodle

The second bundle set comes with this mini army stew (seafood) - we just added to the main pot of army stew

The half potato and half kimchi pancake came with the first bundle set

Bimbimbap comes with the second bundle set

Beef bulgogi comes with the second bundle set

BBQ Pork Belly comes with the second bundle set

We ordered the above two bundle sets. 

The first bundle set, we ordered the army stew and banban pancake ( half potato and half kimchi pancake) and ice lemon tea

The second bundle set, we ordered the bimbimbap with spicy chicken, mini seafood army stew, BBQ pork belly (was so good, highly recommended to order this), BBQ ribeye bulgogi and ice lemon tea.

Highly recommend to try the korean food here. We will visit again. Saw lots of nice korean food in the menu.
