Carlton City Hotel at Gopeng Street (2 mins walk from Tanjong Pagar MRT Exit A) - Buffet Lunch (Not Sponsored)

Chanced upon this buffet promotion advertisement in my facebook. From September to November, the price for the buffet is Adult $58++(applicable for 1 for 1 discount for DBS/POSB Cardholders) and Child $28++ (6 to 12 years old), Children under the age of 6 dines free. Senior Citizen is 50% discount

 

This is the first time I visited Carlton City Hotel located at 1 Gopeng  Street Singapore 078862 (only 2 mins walk from Tanjong Pagar MRT Station Exit A). Not to be confused with Carlton Hotel at Bras Basah Road (two different hotels at different locations)

The buffet at Plate Restaurant in Carlton City Hotel is cozy with nice cozy arm chairs.

The seafood on ice section is fantastic, the prawns are huge and very fresh. Even the scallops are fresh too.

Everyone's favourite must be the tuna and salmon, finished quickly but replenished very fast.

When I made the reservation with the hotel, they asked if I am celebrating any birthday or anniversary. Told them that I am celebrating my sister's birthday. 

So nice of them to prepare a slice of cake with lighted candles and they sing birthday song to my sister.

Highly recommended to this Plate restaurant for their very attentiveness and good service especially the manager (Jackson).

Will plan my next group gathering at this restaurant.

What I like best was when we arrived early, Manager Jackson let us in even though the buffet is not ready, he welcome us to sit inside and wait and have some coffee first while waiting for the buffet to be ready. I had been to many buffets, most of the time I dont get this service by inviting us to have coffee first while waiting for them to prepare the buffet hahaha. 

Beside the good service, the food is good too and fresh and with the 50% discount for senior citizen, it is really worth visit the cafe again for the food and the good service. :)

 

White Restaurant - Vivocity - Lunch

Had a wonderful lunch at White restaurant in Vivocity.

We had one value lunch set and the other ala carte.

For the  lunch set, the main - we ordered the XO Twin scallop fried rice

For the side dish, we ordered the meat and seafood roll

The value lunch set supposed to come with soup of the day but they run out of soup that day, so they replaced my soup of the day with a dessert. I suggested my replacement to be yam paste and the chef agreed to it. Oh I loved the yam paste so much.

For the ala carte dish, we ordred the original white mee hoon

Enjoyed our lunch, will visit again. :)

 

M Hotel - Cafe 2000 buffet lunch

This is the second time that I had buffet lunch in Cafe 2000. Love it that the food are really tasty. They have flavour and tasted good. We went for the promotion for the buffet lunch at S$29++ (normal price is $58++)
