Safra 1 for 1 Buffet at Food Capital @ Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore

Recently I went for buffet at Food Capital at Grand Copthonrne Waterfront Hotel. They are having a Japanese Theme Buffet, looked as if I am in Japan. 

There's a lot of food with a Japanese touch. There's also a section for International Food too.

The conveyor belt for sushi actually move. It is cute.

Dessert section

We went using my hubby's safra card which entitled us to a 1 for 1 buffet. The best part he could utilise his NS Life SG credits.

Dim Sum at Spring Court, Chinatown Singapore

We suddenly arrived at Spring Court in a group of ten hahaha without making any reservation but as we were early, they could accomodate us.

We ordered roast pork and like it so ordered another plate (not in photo)

Love their chee cheong fun (rice noodles roll), inside the filling were huge prawns and some crispy bean curd skin, etc like the crunchy bean curd skin - very delicious - highly recommend to try this

One of Spring Court signature dish is the popiah - it is huge and lots of ingredients

Chicken feet 

Char Siew Bao (BBQ pork buns)

Xiao Long Bao (Steamed dumplings)

Har Gow (shrimp dumpling)

Lean meat and century egg congee (will be nicer if the congee is more watery), too thick texture for my liking.

Steamed glutinous rice (very huge serving, more than enough for 10 of us)

We ordered in two or threes baskets for each dim sum - a very happy dim sum meal 

Peranakan Lunch at Ivins at Thomson Plaza - (second visit)

My second visit to Ivins at Thomson Plaza but this time, I brought more makan  kaki to join me for lunch so I could order more dishes.

We ordered desserts to share among ourselves, the serving good enough for 2 to share a bowl.

Enjoyed our lunch very much and will visit again.

Peranakan Lunch at Ivins at Thomson Plaza

Lunch at Ivins in Thomson Plaza. Easy access by the Thomson East Coast Line at Upper Thomson Station Exit 1.

They have 2 units but seats are without back rest. Means cannot sit too long especially for senior folks hahaha. The menu have a lot of dishes and looked so tempting. Need come again with more people to try the dishes.

I ordered the peranakan set of Ayam Buah Keluak that comes with 2 side dishes. Rice comes in plain white rice or nasi kuning .

Hubby ordered the nasi lemak ayam rendang.

The lunch was delicious, will visit again.
