Ala Carte Buffet at Nonya Restaurant - Part 2

Continuing from Part 1, these are the main dishes that we had for ala carte, you can order as many times for these dishes but you must finished them and no leftovers otherwise you would be charge for them.

Ayam Buah Keluak (Chicken) - yummy

Babi Pong Tay (Pork) - this is nice too but I dont facy the fatty part

Sayor Lodeh (Curry Vegetables) - this is so good

Ayam Goreng (Fried Chicken) - too dry for us, dont really like this.

Satay Babi (Pork) - yummy

Sotong - Squid - the squid is too hard and tough

Nonya Chap Chye - Vegetables - oooo I love this - yum yum

Beef Rendang - good good

Otah - this is yummy too - non spicy

Ngoh Hiang - nice

Ikan Manis (Fish)- nice

Ikan Assam - Curry Fish - oooo spicy and so good

Ala Carte Buffet at Nonya Restaurant-Part 1

Last week, I had a great sumptous Ala Carte Buffet with my girlfriends at Straits Chinese Restaurant. It is a Ala Carte Nonya Buffet and the food is so much that we almost could not finish the food...lol. I think I still prefer the normal buffet where we could just walk to the main table and take whatever food we want instead of ala carte buffet.

Sambal Belachan - yummy

For starters, we had mini fried spring roll.

And some kueh pie tee (3 cups here for the 3 of us)

Look at the amount of food we had and these are not the complete set, there are more coming...lol. Imagine putting all these food into our stomachs of three women...hahaha...I guess it is wiser to come in a bigger group for ala carte buffet.

We just have to tick what we want in the order form and we can order as many as we could but certain popular dish we could only order once. But we actually order once for most of the food and there are some dishes we did not order cause it is just too much for us...lol.

Dinner at Jumbo Restaurant

We had a sumptous dinner last weekend at Jumbo Restaurant at Safra Resort. I did not take photos of the rest of the dishes cause I have taken and posted so many times in my blog before...lol. But this fish looked so unique, I just have to take a photo of it. Sorry it is so blur cause I taken the photo with my handphone.
