Chinese New Year - Tossing of Yusheng

This year we decided to have Teochew Yusheng instead of the normal yusheng. It is so different. They dont come with crackers toppings.

After mixing all the ingredients and sauces, it is time to toss the yusheng.

Food Street in Chinatown. It is nice that there is a shelter above the road. At night, the road would be closed to traffic and tables/chairs will be placed in the middle of the road. With the shelter, there would be no disruption of business even if it rained.

The above sign said it all. You are not allowed to bring food purchased from elsewhere to eat in this food street.

Hmmm...I had this mango with cocktail fruits and ice shavings...

My friend had the mango with longan and ice shavings.

Fried Carrot, we both share this for our tea break.
