Dinner at Xin Wang Cafe Plaza Singapura

Over the weekend, hubby and me had dinner at Xin Wang Cafe Plaza Singapura. Best was there's free wifi for those who need to use the internet. But it's best to put down the phone and have a nice meal and chat with partners, family or friends instead of eyes "glued" to the phone hahaha.

I always make it a point of putting down my phone after taking photos of the food for my blog.

Hot Milk Tea and Chinese Tea for two old folks.

Sampan Congee (why sampan?) Sampan or "tang jai jook" also known as plank bottomed boat, in the past the Sampan Congee was first served to scholars and tourists who took a boat tour in Guangzhou, now is served in restaurants and many places.

Har Gow (Shrimp Dumpling)

Beancurd Skin Prawn

Tea Break at The Little Prince Cafe

Spotted this nice little cafe when I was in Toa Payoh. Had to head into the cafe for our tea break.Looked very lovely with painting of the little prince and yes the cafe is known as Little Prince. Nice place to take photo of the decorations and the paintings and of course the waffle was really good and crispy.

The cafe was at Block 47 Lor 6 Toa Payoh, Singapore 310047 and is opposite Pei Chun Public School. (From Toa Payoh Bus Interchange take bus no.232 and alight at Pei Chun Public School)

Steam Fish and SteamTofu with minced pork using the electric lunch box

The electric lunch box is so useful, nowadays I cant live without it hahaha. I can do my housework and let the electric lunch box do the cooking for me. Very simple to use. Steam two dishes at one go using the appliance. Steam a fish and tofu, just add the seasoning and placed the dishes into the electric lunch box to steam. My food will be ready in 15 to 20 minutes but most importantly to add HOT water into the base of the box to quicken the cooking process.
