Air Fryer Char Siew (BBQ Pork) on my Toyomi Air Fryer Oven

Nowadays making char siew at home is a breeze. Using my air fryer oven, I can have my char siew anytime I want.

Just marinate the char siew half a day earlier or overnight and keep it in the fridge and just take out during meal time and air fried it. Very simple.

My air fryer oven comes with rotisserie function, so I decided to air fry my char siew with the rotisserie function so that the char siew can rotate and air fried on all sides of the meat.

So delightful to see it spin.

Korean Seaweed and Vietnamese Rice Paper Crackers

The seaweed and rice paper crackers tasted just like keropok.

Very easy to make.

Just wet the rice paper with water and stick to the seaweed and dried them under the sun, once they are fully dried, just deep fried them.

Very tasty and addictive, I mixed some instant noodle seasoning with the crackers.

Lunch at Soup Restaurant

We had lunch at Soup Restaurant. Since it is still Chinese New Year, we ordered Salmon Yusheng. This year will be different, is a muted affair. We are unable to shout out loud all the Yusheng chants. As we are still under Phase 3 of Covid 19 Pandemic, we can only gather in group of eight while dining and no shouting during the tossing of Yusheng. So sad, the chinese new year atmosphere is a quiet affair unlike other years. But there's no choice as this is to prevent the spread of the virus.

Just hope the situation will improve and we can have our normal lives back.
