Electric Lunch Box
Just had a minor surgery, was so glad someone gave us this electric lunch box. Solve my problem of having some home cooked food when family members are not around to help me buy or prepare my meal.
Before cooking, steamed fish with spring onion and ginger and some light soya sauce
Before cooking, beat one egg with one and half shell of water.
It took so long to cook about 45 minutes, by adding hot water in the base of the box instead of room temperature water will quicken the cooking time as I read in some reviews. Will try the next time with hot water.
My final product, no messy kitchen.

Lunch at Onya Sayang Peranakan Restaurant Paya Lebar Square
Hubby and me decided to have lunch at Onya Sayang Peranakan Restaurant again. The last time was a big group of us lunching there. Read more about my last visit in here.
Love the beautiful displays of peranakan costume and accessories in the restaurant.
Had 15% discount on our bill when we paid using our UOB Credit Card.
Chap Chye (ten different types of vegetables) - love this dish, the vegetables were cooked very soft and tasty.
Kueh Pie Tee (DIY)
Had to fill the kueh pie tee cups with fillings ourselves - very fun
Rendang Chicken
Ngoh Hiang (Bean Curd Skin Spring Roll)
Had the peranakan dishes with steamed white rice - feeling so full with so many dishes for just two of us but yummy. :)

Ready to cook Begedil
Bought these frozen ready to cook Begedil from NTUC Supermarket. I simply love begedil, would order these whenever I patronize nasi padang stall.
Very useful whenever I am too tired to cook after doing daily chores or running out of ideas on what to cook.
Just followed the insructions on the back of the packet. I just popped them into my oven and they were ready after 25 minutes. No messy splatter of oil from all the deep frying. It tasted just like those sold at nasi padang stall.
Yummy
