Emperor Herbal Chicken using the slow cooker
Recipe
1 chicken
1 packet Emperor Herbal Chicken (any brand - I used Seah Emperor Herbs Chicken)
There's instruction on the packet of the spice on how to cook the chicken, normally they would steam the chicken
I decided to cook it using the slow cooker.
I rubbed the spices all over and inside of the chicken and placed it inside the slow cooker and set it on HIGH and cook for about 3 hours. No need add any water, the moisture will produce some gravy.
Very easy and so tasty and yummy.

Chui Huay Lim Teochew Cuisine - Lunch Set Menu with suckling pig
Lunch at our favourite restaurant again. This time round, got a free lunch treat at Chui Huay Lim Restaurant, we had the set menu for teochew cuisine.
Teochew Cuisine Exquisite Platter
(Deep Fried Liver Rolls, Deep Fried Beancurd Roll
Stu ed with Prawns, Braised Duck with Beancurd,

Braised Superior Shark’s Fin Soup Teochew Style (Normally, I do not like thick chucky shark's fin cause they were hard to chew but this was excellent, very soft and easy to chew and very tasty).

Marinated with Five Spices
Pig's Head (chopped to bite sizes)
Asparagus Stir Fried with Pumpkin,
Fresh Lily Bulbs and Dried Sole Fish
Teochew Steamed Pomfret
Whole 3-Head Abalone and Broccoli
Braised with Superior Abalone Sauce in Claypot
Like how soft and tender the abalone and especially easy to chew especially to senior folks like us. :) Very yummy and tasty too.
