Asian Market Cafe, Fairmont Hotel Singapore (1 for 1 Buffet - credit card promotion ending 21st March 2023)

Recently, had a buffet lunch with my friend at Asian Market Cafe, Fairmont Hotel Singapore. They were having a 1 for 1 buffet for credit card promotions. View their official website for more details on their promotion ending 21st March 2023.

Love how the dessert were displayed. There were so many different varieties, I could not finished all, even share some with my friend cause there were lots of other food. We were too full to actually eat all the food there hahaha. This buffet must be one of the best I had. Highly recommended.

The portuguese tarts were so tasty and fluffy too. Wish I could eat more.

Kuih Seri Ayu (steaming hot)

Did not try this dessert, my stomach was bloating kekeke.

This is my favorite dessert, durian pengat. I had two servings hahaha.

So many different varities hot dishes, they were all so good. Even the chilli crabs , we were too busy eating to chat hahaha.

The highlight of the buffet must be the satay. There were chicken and beef satay. The satay were so tender and easy to chew. I still think of the satay now hahaha. And not forgetting the satay sauce , yummy..

Sorry the cold dishes were bare, there were too many people at the buffet, did not get to take a good picture. By the time the crowd lesser, the food were almost gone. Took these at almost end of my buffet. This is how popular the buffet is. I think is almost full house.

So after less 50% (1 for 1 buffet), we each pay about $49.90 for the buffet.

Buddy Meal at Seoul Yummy, Nex

Recently, had lunch with friend. We ordered the Buddy Meal for 2 of us. It's really a lot. We can choose two dishes from the main , and 1 appetizer. 

We ordered the hotstone bibimbap with spicy chicken.

And the Ginseng Chicken Soup

For the appetizer, we ordered the kimchi pancake

Condiments 

Really enjoyed the food. This is one of the korean restaurant that I like to frequent. Like the ambience of the restaurnat and the food too. The service is great too.

 

Chendol Agar Agar and Peach Agar Agar Recipe

Made some agar agar for potluck during the recent family gathering for Chinese New Year .

Didnit make too elaborate agar agar designs, just the simple design but the taste matter. Happy that everyone enjoyed the agar agar.

Shang Social at Jewel, Singapore Changi Airport

Had dinner at Shang Social over the weekend. Shang Social is a member of Shangri La. Shangri La really lived up to its good name. The food was well prepared,tasty and delicious. Lots of ingredients in the dishes.

There's three types of menu, bar, market and dining. 

The menu are curated with inputs from three of Shangri La's acclaimed maser chefs.

Cucumber and Scallions for Peking Duck

Half Peking Duck

Peking Duck Skin (1st half of the peking duck dish)

Duck meat cooked in Kung Pao (2nd half of the Peking Duck Dish) - very nice and tasty.

Gold Broth Bird Nest Soup with Crab Meat and Roe -wow it tasted like shark fin (minus the shark fin but instead big chunks of bird nest)

Sauteed whole Boston Lobster with Black Truffle Sauce - Very nice and tasty.

Braised Ee Fu Noodles with seafood, conpoy and egg white - very delicious with wok hei (lots of ingredients inside - there's about 4 or 5 big scallops, and big slices of fish)
