Westin Hotel - Seasonal Taste Buffet (1 for 1 buffet for Marriott Bonvoy Members)

First time visiting Seasonal Taste for their buffet lunch. Very impressed with the buffet and the ambience. We had the window seats and had a nice view of the sea from Level 32 of Westin Hotel.

Westin Hotel is easily accessible by the MRT via Shenton Way MRT Station Exit 4.
The lift button is so cute, located in the middle of the cabinet lookalike.

The seafood section is very fresh and the salmon was sliced only when we just arrived at 12 noon.

The roast chicken is so tasty and goes well with the gravy.
Roast beef

I loved the seafood pot, there's different seafood inside the pot, Prawns, crabs, crayfish, chinese crayfish (little lobster).

Dessert section, lots of different cakes and kuehs.

Had a good time eating and watching the scenery outside .

We paid only around $35 per person as we joined the Marriott Bonvoy Membership which is free, which entitled us to the one for one buffet lunch.($58++)  The 1 for 1 buffet lunch for Marriott Bonvoy is only from Monday to Thursday.

For more information on the membership, please view from the official website .

Peranakan Lunch at Tombok Tombok in Kaki Bukit Community Club

First time visiting this Peranakan Restaurant called Tombok Tombok located inside Kaki Bukit Community Club. Heard about this restaurant from my sister, so decided to visit this restaurant to try their food.

We could use our CDC Voucher to pay for our meals. CDC Vouchers also help improved merchant's business as well as help Singapore household with their daily expenses.
We always ordered Ayam Buah Keluak for nonya cusine.

Satay
Hae Bee Hiam(Spicy dried shrimp sambal)

Sambal chilli
Nonya Chap Chye

Gulai Tumis (Sea bass cooked in tamarind gravy and eggplant, ladies figners and tomato, we loved it and ordered two plates)
Muar Otah (tasted so good)

Chendol

The location of the restaurant is abit far as we dont stay near bedok. But the food is good and the restaurant is cozy and quiet and easy to talk on a weekday lunch. Will go again with friends for gathering.
